CAMPUS

The Campus

The St. Helena Montessori campus represents a complete vision for a thriving Montessori learning community on a working farm – one where students are connected with the agricultural roots of our Napa Valley community and the Montessori tradition of environmental awareness. In the school’s classroom buildings, hospitable learning environments are designed, scaled and equipped to meet the unique needs of each age group. With natural lighting and access to protected outdoor learning spaces, the classrooms maintain a strong connection with the school’s natural setting.

The campus also features a multi-purpose gathering space (“The Barn”) that hosts the annual fundraiser auction, guest speakers and community events. The open air amphitheater provides a gorgeous setting for student performances. To strengthen the school’s physical education program and provide opportunities for sports and recreation, the campus also has a multi-purpose ball field, a basketball and volleyball courts, as well as distinct, age-appropriate playground spaces. The administration building supports the growing school and its community, including space for ongoing parent education programs in such areas as child growth and development, practical parenting and character development. The new Toddler program, now housed in the admin building, will eventually develop and grow into a new building site, seen in the bottom left corner of the photo below (by the picnic tables).
